Morning Brief – 7:00 AM
The day begins early at Riley Heating & Cooling’s headquarters, where we gather for our morning dispatch meeting. With temperatures dropping across Chicagoland, our schedule is packed with residential heating calls throughout the western suburbs.
First Call – 8:15 AM
My first stop is in Melrose Park, where a family woke up to a cold house. After a thorough inspection, I identify a faulty ignitor in their furnace. It’s a common issue during peak heating season, and I’m able to replace the part quickly, restoring warmth to their home.
Mid-Morning – 10:30 AM
Heading to Oak Park for a scheduled maintenance check. Preventative maintenance is crucial, and I spend time explaining to the homeowner how regular service can extend their system’s lifespan and prevent costly repairs.
Lunch Break – 12:00 PM
A quick stop in Elmhurst between calls. While eating, I review my afternoon schedule, which includes:
– Heater installation consultation in Forest Park
– Emergency heating repair in Westchester
– Routine furnace service in Elmwood Park
Afternoon – 1:30 PM
The Forest Park consultation goes well. I help the homeowners understand their options for a new heating system, considering their home’s size and their budget constraints.
Evening Wrap-Up – 5:00 PM
After completing the day’s service calls, I return to document all repairs and maintenance performed. Our commitment to keeping detailed records helps us provide better service to our customers across all western suburban communities.
Working at Riley Heating & Cooling means every day brings new challenges and opportunities to help people stay comfortable in their homes. Whether it’s a simple maintenance check or a complete system installation, we take pride in delivering professional service throughout the Chicago western suburbs.
